Chiropractic & Trigger Point Therapy Care
What to expect...
First Visit
Your first visit will last approximately one hour. After written intake information is collected, a thorough consultation and health history will help Dr. Johnston to understand your condition. This is also the time when we can often determine if chiropractic is a good fit for you. If it is, we will do a comprehensive physical examination. This includes orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic testing of the injury and related areas. If films are deemed necessary, scrip will be written for a local radiology lab.
You DO NOT need a physician's referral for the x-rays to be covered by your insurance.
Second Visit
On this visit, the therapeutic results of the first visit are evaluated. At this time, Dr. Johnston presents a full explanation of the new patient's condition and makes recommendations for a treatment plan to address the problems. We will explain the specific lifestyle modifications to undertake. These may include postural changes, sleeping habits, exercise and much more.
